Spotlight on Daytona Beach Economic Development - There is a burst of economic growth that many are saying is "unprecedented" for the Daytona Beach local economy and the creation of new jobs for Volusia.
Jerry Jackson of Florida Trend Magazine wrote in the recent August Issue Spotlight on Volusia County. "It’s easy to see why these are days of opportunity for Volusia County and why it is experiencing a post-recession flood of investment that will bolster its traditional economic mainstays of tourism and motorsports".
Mark Soskin, Associate Professor of Economics with the University of Central Florida said “It might be the tipof the iceberg of a new era”.
